Following the revealing spyshots of the 2015 Suzuki Ertiga, Autonetmagz has obtained the list of changes in the facelifted model. Apparently, the facelift has brought about 29 new changes, of which 5 are major and the rest 24 are small updates.
The 5 main changes in the facelifted Suzuki Ertiga are power-folding ORVMs, new airbags as standard across the range, Auto Up power window in the drivers side, a split 50:50 third row bench seat, and an optional socket console box in the second row of seats.
The other 24 updates are spread across the exterior, interior and under the hood. The exterior design has been updated with new features such as a bolder 3-slat chrome grille, re-profiled bumper with new chrome accents for the fog lamp housing and updated radiator grille. At the back, it sports a new chrome embellishment above the registration plate area, rear parking sensors and taillamp reflectors.
Inside, the familiar design of the Suzuki Ertiga have been kept intact. The changes seen are dashboard, steering, floor carpet, gear shift knob, handbrake colors have been updated with a new color, an updated audio head unit system, and a new pattern for the fabric upholstery.
Under the hood, the mechanical changes are an updated fifth gear ratio (0.769) for the standard five-speed manual transmission and power reduction by 3 PS. Otherwise, it continues to source power from the 1.4-liter K-Series (K14B) VVT petrol engine, which now produces 92 PS power and 130 Nm of peak torque in the current model. It will also continue offering the 4-speed automatic gearbox, rather than the rumored 5-speed AMT.
