Features minor exterior and mechanical upgrades.
MG unveiled the first mid-cycle refresh for the MG 6 sedan recently, which has now been spotted at a showroom in Thailand. Judging by the pictures posted by the MG 3 China club via MZ Crazy Cars, it looks like the facelifted model is being shown to prospective customers ahead of the market launch.
The MG 6 facelift features a reworked front bumper with new air inlets, integrated LED daytime running lamps, a slightly tweaked upper grille housing the octagonal logo, and new headlamp clusters with revised internal clusters. The rear-end is identical to the outgoing model, save for new taillight clusters.
Inside, the MG 6 claims to feature better materials and fit & finish, as well as improved equipment such as an all-new infotainment system and an electronic handbrake.
Under the hood, the MG 6 facelift is likely to continue to source power from a 1.8 litre petrol engine, which produces 133 hp at 5,500 rpm and 215 Nm between 1,750 and 4,500 rpm. There's also the 1.9-litre turbodiesel engine with 148 bhp and a healthy 350 Nm of torque.
