The Fiesta facelift made its Indian debut at the Auto Expo last month.

The company has started posting details about the updated Fiesta on their website, ahead of a market launch which is believed to be around the corner. In these spyshots taken by a MotorBash reader, the new Fiesta was spotted at an Ad agency's property for filming its TVC/promotional video.

The refreshed Fiesta is confirmed to receive new features such as push button start, under-seat storage, 60/40 folding rear seat, Ford SYNC technology with voice activated controls and automatic headlights. Design changes include new headlights, taillights, an Aston Martin like grille and new alloy wheel designs.

In terms of powertrain, the company has only announced the 1.5-liter TDCI diesel engine on their website. There is no mention of a petrol option, which is currently a 1.5-liter motor offered with a manual and (dual clutch) automatic transmission.

Contrary to its sales abroad, the current Fiesta hasn’t sold at all in India. For the last three months of 2013, only one Fiesta was sold across the country.
