The Ford Fiesta facelift is marking its official debut in India today featuring new looks. The car is updated with the trapezoidal grille (Aston Martin inspired design touch), laser-cut new headlamps and a different bonnet. At the back, the car gets new taillamps, decklid and bumper fascia with a chrome accent.
The interior features a high-gloss finish for the upper instrument panel that flows into the lower center console, and a two-tone scheme for the instrument panel. The seat fabrics and designs are new, and satin-chrome detailing finish is provided along with Ice Blue lighting on the dials, switches and displays.
Ford SYNC with AppLink is provided on the 2014 model for smartphone-based infotainment as well.
Ford has not made any comment on the engines and transmissions, which are likely to carry over from the current car. The company has not yet disclosed the price or the tentative launch date yet, only saying that the car will launch later this year.
