It would not have been a tough engineering job to get the RC series ready on time as they motorcycles are similar in many aspects to the naked versions, and are technically identical.
The RC125 is propelled by a single-cylinder, four-stroke, liquid-cooled 125cc engine that makes 15 hp, and is matched to a 6-speed transmission. The RC200 receives a more powerful four-stroke, 200cc single-cylinder engine with liquid-cooling to produce 26 hp which is also hooked to a 6-speed gearbox whereas the RC390 gets a 375cc single-cylinder, liquid-cooled engine that produces 45 PS.

KTM have given the motorcycles clip-on handlebars, while the foot rests and pedals are moved back by a notch.
The RC125, RC200 and RC390 would be manufactured in Pune, India and the latter two have a strong possibility to hit our market next year.
