Here Motocorp showcased refreshed versions of the Hero HF-Dawn and Hero HF-Deluxe today. The company has also unveiled a new variant of the HF-Deluxe, the Hero HF-Deluxe Eco.
New Hero HF Dawn & New Hero HF Deluxe
The Dawn and Deluxe now get a side stand indicator as standard and the turn indicators feature a clear lens. These are the only updates on the motorcycles.
The powertrain continues to be the same, and the familiar four-stroke, 97.2cc single-cylinder air-cooled engine powers these bikes. The maximum power is rated at 7.8 PS @ 7,500rpm while the peak torque is rated at 8.04 Nm @ 4,500rpm (8.2 Nm in the case of the Dawn). The 4-speed constant mesh gearbox continues to be seen as well.
Where the Dawn is available only with a kick-start, Hero offers the Deluxe with kick and electric start options. The Dawn and Deluxe refresh will be available in showrooms within the next six months.

Hero HF Deluxe Eco
The Deluxe Eco has been introduced as the more economical cousin to the HF-Deluxe. Hero says that the air resistance has been lowered in the Deluxe Eco thanks to the use of stylized air foils and aerodynamic wing mirrors. The Eco also gets low rolling resistance tires to increase its fuel economy. It is powered by a 97.2cc single-cylinder air-cooled engine that pushes out 7.8 PS @ 7,500rpm and 8.2 Nm @ 4,500rpm.
An official economy figure has not been quoted yet.
Hero has witnessed a sales growth of 8% this year as compared to last year and is currently the market leader in the 125cc segment. Expect the Deluxe Eco on the market before the end of April 2014.
