BMW Motorrad, the bike making division of the German auto giant, has unveiled new color options for MY2014 throughout its range.
BMW Motorrad is currently conducting its annual “BMW Motorrad Days” at Garmisch-Partenkirchen, Germany. The event serves as a rendezvous for thousands of BMW patrons who meet for shows, music, motorcycle news and parities. This year, as estimated 30,000 BMW bikers are said to be taking part in the event that is taking place between July 5th to 7th.
On the inaugural day of the mega get together, BMW has previewed the new color options to its fans and customers. The new color options will be made available in the 2014 models.
Let’s start with the BMW K 1600 GT which gets an interesting color theme, a combination of Sakhir Orange metallic and Black Storm metallic. The BMW F 800 R tourer also gets Sakhir Orange metallic treatment with inserts of Black Satin in glossy finish.
The BMW G 650 GS, one of the most versatile motorcycles, looks menacing in Deep Black shade. The BMW C 200 Sport scooter gets swathed in Alpine White 3 while the BMW C 650 GT mega scooter sizzles in a unique Quartz Blue metallic paint job. The scooter also gets the Havana color option which is made popular by the BMW passenger cars.
The flagship superbike BMW S 1000 RR gets two catchy color themes – Granite grey metallic matte/ Alpine white 3 and Racing red / Alpine white 3/ Sapphire black metallic.
BMW hasn’t talked about any mechanical changes and we assume that the specifications of the range of motorcycles would continue as they are.
