The Volkswagen Vento is available with benefits up to Rs 1 lakh. The offers comprise of a direct cash discount of Rs 60,000 and an exchange bonus of Rs 40,000. With an average monthly sales figure of just 560 units*, the Vento hasn't been doing too well on the sales charts. The discounts, however, should help VW India find more buyers during this year's festive season.
With a monthly sales average of just 220 units*, the Corolla Altis isn't really setting the sales charts on fire. No wonder, then, that the company is offering huge discounts on its D1-segment sedan. The Altis is available with a cash discount of Rs 35,000, an exchange bonus of Rs 20,000, and a corporate discount of Rs 45,000.
With an average monthly sales figure of 3,990 units*, the Xcent lags behind the Maruti Dzire (24,099 units*) in popularity. To keep cars moving from yards, Hyundai Motor India Ltd (HMIL) is offering discounts worth Rs 1 lakh. These include a Rs 40,000 cash discount, Rs 45,000 in exchange bonus, and a corporate discount of Rs 5,000.

The top-spec AMT variant is available with discounts worth Rs 60,000. There's an exchange bonus of Rs 35,000 and a corporate discount of Rs 5,100. The Wagon R has been averaging 12,291 units* on a monthly basis. The substantial price cuts should help it fare even better during the festive season.
The Renault Duster averages a monthly sales of just 1,006 units*. To benefit from a higher demand during this year's festive period, the company is offering discounts and offers worth Rs 1 lakh. There's a cash discount of Rs 60,000 on the 110 PS variant. Moreover, the buyer benefits from free 1st-year insurance worth Rs 40,831.
The Nissan Terrano is a Renault Duster-based offering that has pretty much failed to attract SUV buyers. To push its sales this festive season, Nissan India is offering discounts worth more than Rs 1 lakh. There's a direct cash discount of Rs 45,000. Government employees get an additional discount of Rs 10,000. The buyers also benefit from free first-year insurance, which amounts to Rs 62,113 on the top-end trim.
On an average, Honda Cars India manages to sell only 615 units of the BR-V every month. To boost the 7-seater small SUV's sales, the company is offering discounts worth Rs 1 lakh. The benefits are being provided through free 1st-year insurance, free accessories, and exchange bonus worth Rs 50,000.
With a monthly sales average of just 164 units, the Hyundai Tucson clearly lags behind segment leader Jeep Compass (1,596 units*). In a bid to boost the slow-selling SUV's sales during this year's festive period, HMIL is offering discounts worth almost Rs 1.75 lakh. There's an exchange bonus of Rs 30,000, a corporate discount of Rs 50,000 and free 1st-year insurance worth Rs 92,720.
Honda Cars India will launch the fifth generation CR-V on 9 October Ahead of the launch of the new version the company is offering a cash discount of Rs 1.5 lakh on the current model. The current CR-V has a monthly sales average of fewer than 19 units*. The fifth-gen model, which features an extra row of seats and a diesel engine option, is expected to perform better than the current iteration.
Mahindra will launch the G4 Ssangyong Rexton late next month. Ahead of the launch of the all-new model, Mahindra dealerships have been trying to clear the unsold stock of the current Rexton.
