Reported to get an evolutionary design update.
Motoblast has yet again created a digital sketch of the Yamaha R15 v3.0, which is expected to enter showrooms next year. The R15 v3.0 in this rendering is imagined with sharply-cut dual headlight elements, a squat visor, and an aggressively styled fairing.
According to reports, the Yamaha R15 v3.0 will feature an evolutionary design change with the Yamaha R25 lending some design inspiration. Reports also state that the R15 v3.0 is currently under development in Japan, whereas a few initial prototypes have started real-world testing in Indonesia.
In an interview this month, Mr. Yasuo Ishihara, Managing Director, Yamaha Motor Research & Development India, said that the Yamaha R15 v3.0 will "become better in its next iteration". While the executive stated that exact details couldn't be shared, he assured that in terms of performance and safety, the R15 v3.0 will be a step-up from the current generation model.

The current model costs INR 1.18 lakhs, ex-Showroom, New Delhi and the R15 v3.0 should be priced similarly.
