The Vespa VXL 150 has been showcased at the 2017 NADA Auto Show in Nepal. The stall was set up by D-life style, the authorised distributor of Vespa in the country.
The Vespa VXL 150 employs a 150cc 3-valve single cylinder OHC engine. The powerplant features MAP sensing and Variable Spark Timing Management. It puts out 11.6 PS of power at 7,000 rpm and 11.5 Nm of peak torque at 5,500 rpm. The engine pairs with a Continuously Variable Transmission (CVT) unit. The scooter employs a monocoque steel body with a red and white paint scheme. The dual colour scheme costs an additional NPR 5,000.

The scooter gets twin seats, a chrome grab rail, chrome ornament at the front fender and chrome rear view mirrors. The twin seats command a premium of NPR 20,000. When it comes to suspension, the scooter employs an aircraft-derived single side arm front suspension with anti-dive characteristics. The rear-end uses a dual-effect hydraulic shock absorber. Brakes include a 200 mm front disc and a 140 mm rear drum.
The front gets 11-inch alloy wheel while the rear employs a 10-inch unit. The wheels are shod with a 110-section tubeless tyre at the front and 120-section at the rear.
The Vespa VXL 150 costs NPR 3,09,946. The 125cc variant has a price-tag of NPR 2,85,946.
