To commemorate the cumulative sales of 1 lakh units of the TVS Ntorq 125, the company introduced a new Metallic Red colour option this week. The scooter, in this colour, has started reaching TVS dealership across the country.
TVS Motor Company launched the Ntorq 125 in the domestic market in February ahead of the Auto Expo 2018. The TVS Ntorq 125 is available in a total of seven paint schemes - Matte Yellow, Matte White, Matte Green, Matte Red, Metallic Blue, Metallic Grey and the Metallic Red.
Based on the TVS Graphite concept that debuted at Auto Expo 2014, the TVS Ntorq 125 is billed as India's first connected scooter. It is on track to sell over 2 lakh units in the first year of sales. The design of the Ntorq 125 is inspired by a stealth aircraft. The scooter features LED DRLs, diamond-cut alloy wheels, and LED tail lamps.
The TVS Ntorq 125 comes equipped with a fully digital instrument cluster with Bluetooth Smartphone connectivity. The console comes with 55 different features like navigation assist, in-built lap-timer, top speed recorder, and last parked location. The scooter also gets other highlights like parking brake, dual side steering lock, engine kill switch, USB charger, pass by switch, and an external fuel filler cap.
The TVS Ntorq employs a 124.79 cc, single-cylinder, air-cooled, 3-valve, CVTi-REVV engine that is capable of developing 6.9 kW (9.4 PS) of maximum power at 7,500 rpm along with a peak torque of 10.5 Nm at 5,500 rpm, mated to an automatic transmission. The scooter has a top speed of 95 km/h.

The Ntorq 125 measures 1,865 mm in length, 710 mm in width and 1,160 mm in height, while it has a wheelbase of 1,285 mm and a ground clearance of 155 mm. Braking power comes from a 220 mm front disc brake and a 130 mm drum brake at the back.
The Ntorq 125 costs INR 59,687 (ex-showroom Delhi).
