The TVS Graphite reportedly employs a 125 cc engine that is good for 11.5 hp. In comparison, the Vespa’s 125cc 3-valve OHC engine makes 10.06 PS at 7,500 rpm. The Graphite’s engine will pair with a CVT.
The Graphite rides on telescopic front fork and a single rear suspension. For braking, it uses a disc at the front and a drum unit at the rear. The scooter gets an external fuel cap behind the pillion seat for easy refuelling. TVS has built the scooter based on the Graphite Concept which the company showcased at the 2014 Auto Expo. After its unveil, expect TVS to showcase the scooter at the 2018 Auto Expo next month. It would rival the Honda Grazia and the upcoming Aprilia SR 125.
