IAB’s in-house designer Shoeb R Kalania has rendered the production version of the TVS Graphite based on the spy shots.
The TVS Graphite will be the brand’s first performance scooter, and reportedly sports multifunction instrument cluster, which is a segment-first. The headlight features a DRL, and the tail light is LED. The handlebar cowl houses the front indicators. The angular bodywork is sleek enough to accentuate the scooter’s sporty intent.

The TVS Graphite reportedly employs a 125 cc engine that is good for 11.5 hp. In comparison, the Vespa’s 125cc 3-valve OHC engine makes 10.06 PS at 7,500 rpm. The Graphite’s engine will pair with a CVT transmission.
The Graphite rides on telescopic front fork and a single rear suspension. For braking, it uses a disc at the front and a drum unit at the rear. The scooter gets an external fuel cap behind the pillion seat for easy refuelling.

It used an active LED console to display vital vehicle information, ride data and provide connectivity. Expect TVS to showcase the production version at the 2018 India Auto Expo, along with the 2018 TVS Apache RTR 160. The scooter would rival the Aprilia SR 125 and Honda Grazia in the sporty 125 cc scooter segment.
