TVS Akula 310 is expected to be launched before the BMW G310R.
The TVS Akula 310 concept was a track-centric machine showcased for the first time at the 2016 Auto Expo. Thanks to latest uncamouflaged snaps from what appears to be a stockyard, several interesting details have been revealed.
With two motorcycles spotted, the unit in grey gets an exhaust canister finished in black while the previously spotted unit had a chrome tip. The tall visor has been darkened in the second bike.
The production motorcycle will certainly be road-centric and will lose the gyroscopic camera, carbon fibre body parts and aggressive seating position.
Powering the production TVS Akula 310 is a 313 cc mill borrowed from the BMW G310R. Coupled to a 6-speed gearbox the engine in the German naked roadster is capable of producing 34 PS of maximum power and 28 Nm of peak torque.

TVS will be offering several premium parts like an upside down front forks, projector headlamps and devil horn-shaped taillamps. TVS will also have to price the motorcycle aggressively to attract more volumes.
TVS Motor is expected to launch the production TVS Akula 310 in July 2017.
