Expected to launch on May 3.
Team-BHP member sudeep.pandya has photographed a Toyota Innova Crysta at one of Toyota's dealerships. The model featured is the mid-spec V grade that packs a 2.4L GD diesel engine.
The Innova Crysta (or second generation Innova in other markets) measures 4,735 mm long, 1,830 mm wide and 1,795 mm tall, and has a wheelbase of 2,750 mm. When compared to the highly successful first gen Innova, the new model has grown by 150 mm in length, 70 mm in width and 35 mm in height, although the wheelbase is identical. Not only does it increase interior space, but reports suggest that the growth in dimensions will improve the vehicle's crash protection.
The Innova Crysta will be available in three grades: G, V and Z. The model featured here is the mid-spec V, which also appears to be well equipped. It has a smart entry system with start/stop button, dual airbags as standard along with ABS, EBD and BA, projector headlamps, ambient lighting, automatic climate control, 7-inch audio system with navigation, front seat with easy slide from rear, and third row seats.
