Indian launch unlikely this year.
As Tesla continues testing the Tesla Model 3 stateside ahead of its July 2017 unveiling, another batch of spy shots has emerged revealing the car's interior.
Tesla has followed a minimalistic approach for the Tesla Model 3's interior. In this particular specification, the car features a black interior theme and has wood trim on the dash. The sleek full-width opening on the dashboard is the only vent for the HVAC system.
A 15-inch touchscreen panel in landscape orientation on the centre console handles almost all car functions. It serves as the infotainment system and even as the driver display, possibly through a split screen setup. There's a 3-spoke steering wheel, as opposed to a 2-spoke unit in the first prototype, with what looks like one button on each side spoke. The floor console would offer lots of storage space.
Leaked internal documents show that the base Tesla Model 3 will offer a range of over 215 miles (346.01 km) and have the capability to accelerate from 0-60 mph (0-97 km/h) in just 5.6 seconds. Prices will start at $35,000 (INR 22,64,412.5) in the U.S. market.
