A patent image of a bumper has leaked online, which, according to Shifting-Gears, belongs to the upcoming Tata Kite.
When compared against recent spyshots of the Tata Kite, the bumper in the patent sketch looks more angular and sporty, which doesn't fall inline with the pre-production prototype's contemporary bumper design.
What we believe is that the leaked sketch could be the bumper design of the Tata Bolt Sport that was unveiled at the 2015 Geneva Motor Show. The design is nearly identical to the patent image, as seen in the hexagonal radiator grille and sharp crease lines.
Nevertheless the Tata Kite hatchback and sub-4m sedan will be offered with a new range of three cylinder petrol and diesel engines. Power outputs could range between 70-75 hp, which is sent through either manual or automated manual transmissions (AMT). According to reports, an e-clutch system would also be offered on the Kite.

The Tata Kite hatchback and sedan are all set to replace the Tata Indica and Indigo eCS, respectively, in the personal car market, in the coming months. The latter models will, however, continue to be sold exclusively to the commercial segment, say reports.
