Rushlane has posted a new spyshot of the Tata KITE 5 sub-4m sedan, which partially exposes the rear bumper, bootlid and taillamps. It's expected to arrive in showrooms in November.
Unveiled as a near production concept at the Auto Expo 2016, the KITE 5 (codename) measures 3,995 mm in length, 1,647 mm in width, 1,535 mm in height and 2,450 mm in wheelbase. It rides on 15-inch alloy wheels and gets a 35 liter fuel tank, while the exterior design is easily summarized as a Tata Tiago with a boot.
The interior will be nearly identical to the Tata Tiago, save for a 5-inch entertainment system paired to an 8-speaker audio system and GPS-guided navigation. The KITE 5 will have a class-leading boot capacity of 420 liters.

The engine lineup will be sourced from the Tata Tiago, which includes a 1.2L three cylinder Revotron engine with 83 bhp and 114 Nm of torque and a 1.05L Revotorq diesel engine with 69 bhp and 140Nm of torque. It will be paired to a 5-speed manual gearbox as standard, while an AMT option could be introduced at launch.
