Last month, the Tata Altroz was spotted amid an ad-shoot in Minsk, Belarus and was also seen road-testing in India on multiple occasions in its production ready form. Now, in a fresh development, it has been spied yet again ahead of its early 2020 launch. The latest batch of spy images is courtesy Autocar India.

Tata Altroz Spied Front Quarters
The Altroz is Tata Motors' second car after the Harrier to incorporate the IMPACT Design 2.0 philosophy.

Tata came up with the 45X concept at the 2018 Auto Expo and then carried forward the momentum with a close-to-production version of the Altroz which made its way to the 2019 Geneva Motor Show. The company also teased the same in its official videos which threw light on its exterior and interior details. Though the latest spy pictures are of a fully camouflaged Altroz, details of its outer appearance are already well known to the masses. The camouflage hides a relatively unchanged body which is a replica of the Altroz Geneva Edition introduced in March this year.

The new model gets a wide front grille flanked by blacked-out dual-barrel projector headlamps, a slim humanity line and a beefy front bumper large mid-set fog lamps. At the rear, the Tata Altroz gets a unique two-part boot-lid which makes for a rather complicated 3-D tailgate design. Its tail lamps elements are bridged by a translucent black appliqué which runs across the width of its tailgate.

Step inside and you'll see that the Altroz sports a a dual-tone grey and black interior scheme. It makes use of a flat-bottom steering wheel with silver inserts, and also features contrast white stitching on the seats. Also, as revealed previously, it is all set to receive a floating type infotainment display, ambient lighting, Google Assistant function along with a semi-digital instrument cluster and cruise control.

When launched, expect the Tata Altroz to be priced around the INR 5-9 lakh (ex-showroom) price range.
