The new products would be launched in two years.
Suzuki Motorcycle India is developing four new products which would be launched in the next two years, says a report in ET Auto.
Earlier reports suggested that the Japanese two-wheeler maker would have four scooters out of six new products that are lined up in the mid-term.
In a bid to achieve volumes, Suzuki would also focus on making India a motorcycle hub with target markets such as Latin America, Africa and the Middle East, in addition to neighboring countries like Nepal.
As far as the domestic operations are concerned, the company would double its production capacity at Manesar as and when the mass volume scooters and motorcycles are launched. As of now, the facility has an annual capacity of 5.4 lakh units.
Suzuki Motorcycle India is also aiming to increase its touch points from 525 to 1,000 by the end of this financial year.
