Production-spec Suzuki Ignis could arrive early next year in Indonesia.
Suzuki is showcasing the Suzuki Ignis Water Activity Concept at the 2016 GIIAS (Gaikindo Indonesia International Auto Show) in Indonesia, which was unveiled alongside the regular Suzuki Ignis. It is expected to launch later this year or in early-2017 in Indonesia, reports state.
The Ignis Water Activity Concept made its debut at the 2015 Tokyo Motor Show. The modifications highlight the Ignis’s outdoor versatility. It features a dark green exterior color, orange streaks on grille, bumpers, side sills, rims and mirror caps, black alloy wheels, a metallic coating on the underbody, and an orange canoe mounted on the roof rails.
The Indonesian-spec Ignis will pack a 1.2L VVT petrol engine, which produces 83 hp and 115 Nm. A 5-speed manual will be standard in the Ignis, while an AGS (AMT) gearbox is exclusive to the petrol variant.

The Maruti Ignis is reported to launch in India between September-October. Apart from the 1.2 petrol variant, the Ignis will also offer a diesel variant packing the 1.3 DDiS unit paired to an SHVS mild-hybrid system.
