GM India's MPV contender Chevrolet Enjoy has been in the spyshots spotlight for sometime now.
Test mules of the Enjoy had been spotted at various locations on innumerable occasions. Today we present you yet another set of spyshots of the MPV. This time our avid readers Mr. Ankur Desai and Mr. Neel Shah caught the Enjoy while it was enjoying rain on the Western Expressway, Mumbai.
The Chevrolet Enjoy is expected to be launched in early 2013 and will be one of Chevrolet India's three products which are borrowed from China's GM-SAIC joint venture, along with the recently launched Sail U-VA hatchback and the Sail sedan which is also being tested extensively.
The Chevrolet Enjoy which is essentially a rebadged Wuling Hongguang is one of the best sellers in its segment in China. GM India had showcased the MPV in Delhi Auto Expo earlier this year.
The seven seat MPV will get the 1.3 litre XSDE (MultiJet in Fiat's lingo) diesel engine which is now available in the Sail U-VA hatchback. The engine develops 78PS under the hood of Sail U-VA and we expect the Enjoy to use the diesel burner in the same state of tune.
The Enjoy MPV will be competing with the likes of Nissan Evalia, Maruti Ertiga and Mahindra Xylo and is expected to significantly undercut Toyota Innova's pricing.
