Likely to be a dealer-level paint job.
A Royal Enfield Himalayan finished in Army Green and fitted with jerrycans was photographed at a dealership in Ahmedabad. The paint job is likely to be a dealer-level customization as it's not part of the official palette of color options.
The paint job as well as the accessories add a robust and tough appeal to the Himalayan, which is already developed to take on tough, off-road terrain in stock configuration. The Himalayan features a tall windscreen, a mudguard and a mud flap, half-duplex split cradle frame, a 41 mm long-travel telescopic fork with rubber boots and 200 mm travel, monoshock with linkage and 180 mm travel and tubeless multipurpose tires.
It measures 2,190 mm in length, 840 mm in width, 1,360 mm in height, 1,465 mm in wheelbase, 220 mm in ground clearance, 800 mm in saddle height, 182 kg in kerb weight and 15 litres in fuel tank capacity.
The Himalayan packs an all-new 411 cc air-cooled single-cylinder engine mated to a five-speed gearbox. The motor develops 24.5 PS at 6,500 rpm and 32 Nm at 4,000-4,500 rpm.
