To be launched on February 2.
An accessorized variant of the Royal Enfield Himalayan has been photographed in front of a lodge in Shanag Village, Manali. The motorcycle will be launched ahead of the Auto Expo 2016 on February 2.
The Himalayan prototype is fitted with a pannier case mount and rear luggage carrier that are expected to be standard in one of the two variants it will be introduced in. This would be the adventure/touring variant while the other would be a city version which would not have the luggage solutions.
Powering the RE Himalayan is an all-new 410 cc single-cylinder air-cooled SOHC engine with an oil-cooler that will generate about 25 bhp of maximum power, and will be offered with a five-speed gearbox.
