According to the dealers that we got in touch, the waiting period is three months for all the models of the Royal Enfield 650 Twins. However, the Chrome & Custom models have garnered more bookings. Dealerships have further revealed that if the bikes are booked now, they can be delivered by the end of February or early March 2019.

RE's Hyderabad dealership has delivered the first Royal Enfield Continental GT 650 in India. We had earlier reported about the waiting period and delivery timeframe of the 650 Twins in a 27 November report. The Royal Enfield Interceptor 650 is available in six paint schemes, while the Continental GT 650 is offered with five colour options.

Both the motorcycles are classified in 3 versions based on the various colour palettes - Standard, Custom and Chrome. The standard colours on the Royal Enfield Interceptor 650 are Mark Three, Silver Spectre and Orange Crush, priced at INR 2.50 lakh*. The custom series, which costs INR 2.57 lakh*, has two paint options - Baker Express (White with Red stripe), and Ravishing Red (Red and Black). The Glitter and Dust 'Chrome' variant is priced INR 2.70 lakh*.

On the other hand, the standard colours on the Royal Enfield Continental GT 650 include Black Magic and Ventura Blue, priced at INR 2.65 lakh*. The custom series, which costs INR 2.72 lakh*, includes two paint options - Dr Mayhem (black and grey) and Ice Queen (metallic white). The 'Chrome' variant, named Mister Clean, retails at INR 2.85 lakh*.

Design highlights on the Chrome and Custom models include the matte black finished rims and hubs with stainless steel wire-spokes, which augment the beauty of the bikes. However, the Royal Enfield Interceptor 650 Chrome version doesn’t feature matte black detailing on the rims and hubs.
