Revolt Intellicorp has revealed most of the details and features of the RV 400. Rahul Sharma, Founder of Revolt Intellicorp, has hinted that there are more features that will be announced at the launch, and one of these could be voice activation. Customers will be able to pre-order the new EV on the company's website and Amazon India starting 25 June. There will be two colour options – dual-tone red/black and black.
The feature list includes projector style headlight with LED daytime running light, LED tail lamp and LED blinkers, full digital display, Bluetooth connectivity and a smartphone app. Premium hardware comprises upside down forks at the front that give it a muscular look. The rear uses a monoshock suspension. A single disc on both wheels provides the anchoring power, although the motorcycle does not feature ABS.
The Revolt RV 400 has an electronically limited top speed of 85 km/h. It can go up to 156 km on a full charge. The battery pack can be charged via a wall socket or through the charging network. Owners can also swap it at the swapping stations that will be strategically located throughout the city, or order a new one via the smartphone app.
The motorcycle’s ECU connects with the smartphone app via Bluetooth to access various functions. The smartphone app can be used to start the bike, monitor the range, select the riding mode (Eco, City or Sport), locate the motorcycle on a map, control Geo-Fencing to limit the usage, find battery swap locations, order a battery at home and access trip history.
