The most expensive variant of the Kwid on sale.
Following its reveal as a concept more than a year ago at the Auto Expo 2016, Renault has launched the Kwid Climber in India. Available in 1.0L MT and 1.0L AMT variants, the Kwid Climber is priced at INR 4.3 Lakhs and INR 4.6 Lakhs (ex-showroom Delhi), respectively.
The Kwid Climber is INR 25,000 costlier than the top-end Kwid 1.0L RXT (O). For the premium, the Kwid Climber features cosmetic modifications that make it look tougher and more rugged. It is finished in an exclusive electric blue exterior colour, and comes with orange ORVM caps, bumper accents and roof rails, bolder plastic garnish around the foglamps, silver skid plate, thicker black plastic cladding across the doors, exclusive 15 inch multi-spoke alloy wheels and a Climber badge on the front door.
The rear-end features a silver bumper garnish with orange similar to the front bumper. Inside, the Kwid Climber has orange accents around the gloss black centre console, gear knob, door cards, HVAC vents, seat bolsters, as well as Climber branding on the headrests and steering wheel. The feature list is shared with Kwid RXT (O), which includes a 7-inch MEDIANAV touchscreen display, power steering, driver airbag and seat-belt pretensioner.
