Renault's line-up on display at the 2016 Bologna Motor Show also includes the second generation Renault Koleos which is expected to reach Indian dealerships next year.
The all-new Renault Koleos measures 4,672 mm in length, 2,063 mm in width (with door mirrors out) and 1,678 mm in height, and has a wheelbase of 2,705 mm. The new generation model is underpinned by the Renault-Nissan Alliance's CMF (Common Module Family) platform, specifically the CMF-C/D version. The same platform is utilised for the Nissan X-Trail as well.
The redesigned Renault Koleos is currently on sale in several international markets, including Australia where it's offered with a Euro 5 2.5-litre petrol engine. The naturally aspirated four-cylinder unit is tuned to produce 126 kW (168.90 hp) at 6,000 rpm and 226 Nm of torque at 4,400 rpm, and is mated to the X-tronic continuously variable transmission. A four-wheel drive system can be specified.
Pure Vision LED headlights, LED daytime running lights, 18-inch alloy wheels, hands-free power tailgate, electric panoramic sunroof, ambient cabin lighting, heated and ventilated front seats with electric adjustment, 8.7-inch R-LINK 2 touchscreen infotainment system with navigation, 12-speaker BOSE audio system with subwoofer and digital amplifier and Easy Park Assist parking assistance system, Blind Spot Warning, Forward Collision Warning system and Lane Departure Warning system are some of the key features of the all-new Renault Koleos.
For the global markets, the second generation model is built in Busan, South Korea.
