The production version of the TVS Graphite scooter will be called Ntorq 125, as per a report from BikeWale.
The name Ntorq 125 seems to come from the ENTORQ210 Scooter Concept which TVS unveiled at the 2016 Auto Expo. However, that concept is completely different, with a maxi-scooter design and a bigger 212.5 cc single cylinder liquid-cooled motor. TVS Motor company teased the Graphite in an official video yesterday. The teaser reveals the scooter’s tail light and the throaty exhaust note. The upcoming scooter is based on the TVS Graphite concept which the brand displayed at the 2014 Auto Expo.

There have been multiple sightings of the scooter on Indian roads. Going by the spy shots, IAB rendered the scooter, which gives a fair idea of how it might look. The scooter reportedly uses a 125 cc engine that makes 11.5 hp of power. In comparison, the Vespa’s 125 cc OHC engine makes 10.06 PS at 7,500 rpm. The Graphite’s engine will pair with a CVT.
The Graphite rides on telescopic front fork and a single rear suspension. For braking, it uses a disc at the front and a drum unit at the rear. The scooter gets an external fuel cap behind the pillion seat for easy refuelling. The scooter reportedly sports a multifunction digital instrument cluster which will be segment-first.
