Could pack a downsized force-fed V6 engine.
Audi hasn't yet confirmed the arrival date of the range-topping next generation Audi RS4 Avant, although that didn't stop X-Tomi Design to come up with a render of the model.
The render borrows the front bumper from the recently-unveiled Audi RS3 Sportback, which does seem to look good in the A4 as well. In standard RS fashion, the Singleframe grille has been replaced with an all-black honeycomb mesh grille as well as the optional "Quattro" branding on the lower portion. It will certainly get large alloy rims wrapped in low profile tires, optional silver mirror caps, and a dual exhaust system with a diffuser at the back.
The interior will get the Virtual Cockpit instrument display as standard which, like the interior trim, will be performance-themed. Other RS exclusive features include a flat-bottom 3-spoke steering wheel, sportier seats and pedals, RS badges, and new upholstery stitching options.
The 2017 Audi RS4 Avant may drop the current model's 4.0-liter naturally aspirated V8 engine for a downsized, highly force-fed V6 TFSI engine. Currently, further details on the engine powering the RS4 Avant are unavailable.
