To be priced close to INR 60,000 (ex-showroom).
Autocar India has posted an image of the upcoming iteration of the Suzuki Access 125. The leaked image reveals the model's brand new styling and elements.
The Access seems to have gotten a thorough makeover as it features a new head lamp, indicators, tail light, fresh body panels, and a dash of chrome trims. The publication reports that the model, despite having been revamped extensively, has the same mechanicals. Therefore it is expected to be powered by the 124 cc single-cylinder air-cooled engine with OHC, in the same tune of 8.58 hp at 7,000 rpm and 9.8 Nm at 5,000 rpm.
It can be speculated that the new Access's engine will feature the Suzuki Eco Performance (SEP) technology which is implemented on the powertrains of the Suzuki Lets and the Suzuki Gixxer. The technology is claimed to help achieve a higher fuel efficiency without compromise in pickup.
The publication also reports that it is unclear if the model will be introduced at the Auto Expo 2016, and that the dealers claim that it will be priced close to INR 60,000 (ex-showroom).

The existing Access is equipped with a telescopic fork, 10-inch wheels with 90/90 section tyres, 120 mm diameter drum brake at the front and the rear, and a six-litre fuel tank. It is likely that these features will be carried over to the new version.
