Kinetic MotoRoyale has launched the MV Agusta Brutale 800 in India. The naked roadster is brought to India via the SKD (Semi Knocked Down) route. The bike will be available via MotoRoyale showrooms. Competing against the likes of the Kawasaki Z900, Ducati 821 and Triumph Street Triple S, the MV Agusta Brutale 800 deliveries begin August 7, 2017.
Powering the MV Agusta Brutale 800 is a 798 cc three-cylinder mill. The gearbox is a 6-speed cassette type unit. The engine is capable of 109 hp of maximum power at 11,500 rpm and 83 Nm of peak torque at 7,600 rpm. It has a top speed of 237 km/h. The bike has a dry weight of 175 kg and has a fuel tank that holds 16.5 litre. It has a minimum ground clearance of 135 mm and a seat height of 830 mm.
The MV Agusta Brutale 800 is anchored on fully adjustable 43 mm Marzocchi upside down fork up front. The rear gets a Sachs unit with similar levels of adjustability. Features include LED daytime running lights, three level ABS with rear wheel lift up mitigation and aluminium alloy swingarm. Electronics include 8 level traction control, engine brake control and torque control with four maps.
The bike comes with Pirelli Diablo Rosso III tyres. Kinetic MotoRoyale retails the MV Agusta F3 800 and MV Agusta F3 800 RC via the SKD route. The MV Agusta F4 and the Brutale 1090 are brought via the CBU route.
