Ahead of its market launch on March 8, Gaadi.com has photographed several units of the Maruti Vitara Brezza in Greater Noida. One of the Vitara Brezza even has its roof chopped off for mounting video equipment, as Maruti is in the process of recording the compact SUV's TVC, reports the publication.
Even with price announcement scheduled for March 8, a recent report stated that the Vitara Brezza will be available at showrooms only from March 21. However, bookings are underway at all dealerships.
Unveiled at the Auto Expo 2016, the Vitara Brezza is powered by the 1.3-liter four-cylinder DDiS diesel engine capable of 90 PS and 200 Nm of torque, paired to a 5-speed manual gearbox driving the front wheels. A petrol option, and even an AMT are under consideration for a later period, the company's executive director for engineering, Mr. C.V. Raman stated in an interview.

In dimensions, the Vitara Brezza measures 3,995 mm in length, 1,790 mm in width, 1,640 mm in height and 2,500 mm in wheelbase with a ground clearance of 198 mm. It rides on 215/60 16-inch alloy wheels and gets the option of a dual-tone exterior color on the top-end ZDi+ variant.
