India's long love affair with the Maruti Ciaz only seems to be getting only stronger. It has emerged as the best-selling car in its segment for the third consecutive year. The car held nearly 30% market share in its segment and recorded an overwhelming sales figures of 46,000 units in FY2018-19.
Maruti Suzuki has sold over 2.56 lakh units of the Ciaz since its launch in 2o14. 48% of the sales have been in the car's range-topping grade, which has been called Alpha since it moved to NEXA. The most popular colour choice is the signature NEXA Blue shade, specified by every 3rd customer. The Maruti Ciaz outsold both its close rivals, the Honda City and the Hyundai Verna, in March 2019 sales.

The Maruti Ciaz received a facelift in August last year and gained the all-new K15B 1.5L petrol engine (105 PS/138 Nm) featuring the all-new Progressive Smart Hybrid dual-battery mild-hybrid system. Last month, it gained the all-new E15A 1.5L diesel engine (95 PS/225 Nm) paired with an all-new 6-speed manual transmission. Prices start at INR 8,19,688* and go up to INR 11,38,188*.
