After multiple spy media revelations, the Maruti S-Presso has been finally officially revealed, in a promo video starring Varun Dhawan. It will be launched on the 30th of this month.

The video showcases the all-new Maruti S-Presso in orange paint. When launched, it will sit alongside the Maruti Alto K10 and be a direct rival to the upcoming 2020 Renault Kwid (facelift).

The Maruti S-Presso adopts a very aggressive and bold styling which is poised to attract first-time car buyers. It gets a high-raised, flat bonnet which comprises squarish headlamps and Maruti Vitara Brezza-inspired front grille. The S-Presso misses out on the LED headlamps to keep the pricing in check, but it still gets LED strip fog lamps on its higher variants. To make the exteriors muscular and rugged, its features black plastic cladding around its body, which along with its tall stance and flared up wheel-arches, further complements its SUV inspired styling.

The Maruti S-Presso will be made available in nine configurations: STD (O), LXi, LXi (O), VXi, VXi (O), VXi +, VXi AGS, VXi (O) AGS, VXi+ AGS. Features like 7.0-inch SmartPlay Studio infotainment system with voice recognition, steering-mounted audio controls, rear parcel tray, body-coloured ORVMs and door handles and a 12V-volt accessory socket will be seen on its high-end VXi+ trim. This high-spec trim will also feature 14-inch wheel option with wheel covers, while the smaller variants will only get 13-inch wheels without covers. Its safety kit will comprise standard features like ABS, driver-side airbag, rear parking sensors, seat belt reminders and a speed alert system.

The Maruti S-Presso measures 3,665 mm in length, 1,520 mm in width and 1,549 mm (with 13-inch wheels)/1,564 mm (with 14-inch wheels) in height. It has a wheelbase of 2,380 mm and a gross weight of 1,170 kg.
