Maruti Suzuki recently released teases of a new concept that will have its world premiere at Auto Expo 2018 next month. Based on these images, IAB's automotive illustrator has come up with a rendering of the Maruti Future S concept.
The Maruti Future S concept appears to have a very bold design at the front. Its slim upper grille is flanked by sharp headlamps with LED signature lights that give them a very aggressive character. Placed just below the grille is the Suzuki logo. The concept features a high bonnet, steep A-pillar, high beltline and pronounced shoulders as well. Designed with SUV characteristics, it has a high seating position and a high ground clearance.
The Maruti Future S concept will evolve into a production model positioned below the Maruti Vitara Brezza. It will reportedly ride on the Heartect platform that currently underpins the Maruti Ignis, Maruti Swift, Maruti Dzire and Maruti Baleno. The company also says that the concept previews the design direction future Maruti compact cars will follow.
