Seen here for the first time are images of the Maruti Ciaz ZDi+ believed to be the flagship variant on the upcoming midsize sedan. Features on this car include 16-inch multi-spoke alloy wheels, ABS (indicated by the sticker on the rear windscreen), chrome door handles, parking sensors, indicators on side mirrors and projector headlights.
The ZDi+ could be a leather-seat equipped variant based on the ZDi, though details are still speculative now.
As mentioned earlier, powering the Ciaz will be the 1.4-liter K-Series petrol engine and the 1.3-liter Fiat-sourced Multijet diesel engine, matched to manual gearboxes. The power outputs of these engines are likely to mirror that of the Ertiga's.

The Ciaz is expected to launch either towards the end of this month or early next month. The car replaces the now-defunct SX4.
