These latest spyshots from Chinese website AutoHome reveal the production version of the Maruti Ciaz, which will be called Suzuki Alivio in the Chinese market.
A near production version of the sedan was revealed at the Beijing Motor Show last month. Compared to the concept Ciaz shown at the Auto Expo, the Beijing show car featured production-ready bumpers, wing mirrors, headlights, taillights, door handles and wheels.
The front fascia of the sedan gets a chrome grille and chrome highlights for the foglight enclosures. The headlights feature projector lights and the shape of the cluster looks identical to the concept Ciaz. Towards the rear, the taillight cluster looks strikingly similar to that of the 2014 Honda City. At least for the Chinese market, the Alivio gets dual exhaust pipes located neatly within the rear bumper.
A peek at the interiors reveal the three-spoke steering wheel seen on the Swift/Ertiga. However, Suzuki have said that they have laid emphasis on the interiors and especially rear seat comfort of the sedan.
The Ciaz should launch in India by the end of this year. Naturally, a petrol and diesel variant will be offered.
