Launch on September 10.
Mahindra has dropped a new video teaser of the Mahindra TUV300, which partially reveals the front-end of the highly anticipated sub-4m SUV.
Unlike most sub-4m crossovers of today, the Mahindra TUV300 adopts an old-school boxy SUV styling that will appeal to a true SUV enthusiast. As seen in undisguised spyshots, it gets a Jeep-inspired grille with chrome-inserts, large swept-back headlamps, square-shaped intake and fog lamp enclosures, 15 inch alloy wheels and a blackened D-Pillar. Also on offer is 5+2 seating, where the third row features small jump seats.
Power will be sourced from a new mHawk 80 diesel engine, which is, reportedly, version of the 1.5-liter 3-cylinder diesel engine in the Mahindra Quanto. It will be paired to a 5-speed manual gearbox or an AMT unit (as seen in spyshots).
The Mahindra TUV300 will launch on September 10, and could be available in three trim levels. Bookings have already open at dealerships across India for a minimum amount of INR 20,000.
