A report from last week revealed the power and torque outputs of the 2017 Mahindra Scorpio. The 2.2 L mHawk diesel will produce 140 hp and 330 Nm, which is the same as the current figures of the Mahindra XUV500. The document also reveals that the Scorpio will get a new trim called S7. Currently, the SUV does not have a trim with an odd number prefix.
The dimensions, as evident from the document, are exactly the same as the current model. The Mahindra Scorpio facelift measures 4,456 mm long, 1,820 mm wide, and 1,995 mm tall. It has a wheelbase of 2,680 mm.
Mahindra is expected to launch the Scorpio facelift sometime this month. Apart from the aforementioned changes to specifications, the SUV will receive cosmetic updates to the exterior including a new fascia, red tinted tail lamp glass, and a new set of alloy wheels. The cabin is expected to gain new seat upholstery along with a 7-inch touchscreen with support for Connected Apps and EcoSense, followed by the addition of Android Auto next year.
