Sportier cousin of the Rodeo RZ is sold with four colour options and contrasting stripes.
SG Global Pvt Ltd, the authorized distributor for Mahindra two-wheelers in the Nepali market had added the Mahindra Rodeo UZO 125 to the lineup at the Nepal Auto Show (NADA 2014). The scooter is priced at NPR 169,900 (INR 1.05 lakh) with its sales target at 5,000 units in the first year.
Launched in India last month, the scooter can be called by its unique dual-tone body colour scheme with contrasting stripes, body coloured mirror caps and coloured wheels. The scooter also has a dual texture seat with an anti-slippage surface.
The Rodeo UZO 125 is motored by the same 124.6 cc air-cooled engine as the standard variants. Hooked to a CVT, it produces 8.04 bhp (6 KW) and 9 Nm of torque, with an ARAI certified mileage of 59 km/l.
The scooter's equipment remains as it is, sporting a completely digital instrument console (speedometer, odometer and tachometer), side stand alarm, 4-in-1 anti-theft key, illuminated under-seat storage capacity of 22 litres, and a mobile charging point.
The scooter is launched with four base colours - Racetrack Black, Colt Black, Victory Violet and Blazing Blue.
