Market launch confirmed for April 4.
The official website of the Mahindra Nuvosport has gone live, although it merely reveals its exterior design and a countdown to its confirmed launch on April 4.
The Mahindra Nuvosport features an all new front end, while the rear end retains the outgoing Quanto's design. Up front, it sports a new grille flanked by headlamps, separate LED DRLs, contoured hood with an intake, stylized front bumper with round foglamps, and a silver skid plate. The Nuvosport adds black plastic body cladding, while the rear end features clear lens taillights, roof spoiler and new spare wheel cover.
The top-end N8 grade will feature an interior that has dual-tone black and beige leather seats and a beige dashboard. It retains the 5+2 seating arrangement, with two small jump seats located at the rear. It gets an updated steering wheel, instrument dials, 2-DIN music system with a touchscreen display for top-end grades, cruise control, eight-way adjustable seats with lumbar support which are first in its segment.
Engine lineup hasn’t been confirmed yet. Most of the reports suggest that the Quanto-replacement will ditch the 100 PS 1.5-liter three cylinder engine for a new 1.5-liter engine from the Mahindra TUV300. An AMT will be offered as optional, while a 5-speed manual is standard.
