Launch on April 4.
The engine details of the upcoming Mahindra Nuvosport have been leaked ahead of its launch, courtesy of Team-BHP member, Senna4Ever. The Quanto-replacement is confirmed to launch on April 4.
It appears that the NuvoSport will retain the same 1.5-liter three cylinder engine from the Mahindra Quanto, which produces 100 PS and 240 Nm of torque. Like the KUV100, the Nuvosport will also feature PWR and ECO modes that drops the engine power and torque for better fuel efficiency. It is paired to a 5-speed manual gearbox, while a 5-speed AMT is also available as an option.
Images released by the manufacturer reveal an all new front end, featuring a sportier grille flanked by headlamps, separate LED DRLs, contoured hood with an intake, stylized front bumper with round foglamps, and a silver skid plate. The Nuvosport adds black plastic body cladding, while the rear end comes with clear lens taillights, roof spoiler and new spare wheel cover.

The top-end N8 grade gets a dual-tone black and beige leather seats and a beige dashboard. It retains the 5+2 seating arrangement with two small jump seats located at the rear. Also seen via spyshots are an updated steering wheel, instrument dials, 2-DIN music system with a touchscreen display for top-end grades, cruise control, eight-way adjustable seats with lumbar support which are first in its segment.
