Mahindra 2 Wheelers have been working on their flagship product since 2010 and finally the launch is near.
Over the course of the development, Mahindra has significantly redesigned the motorcycle. Showcased at the Auto Expo earlier this year, the redesigned Mojo has been given features like new fuel tank, air intakes and LED daytime running lights.
The updated bike has started testing already and here are the latest spyshots of the camouflaged test mule by Rushlane.com. The prototype was spotted testing in Pune.
The Mojo's 292cc single cylinder liquid cooled engine employs electronic fuel injection to push out 26 hp and 25 Nm of torque. Transmission duties are handled by a 6-speed gearbox.
The Mahindra Mojo was supposed to be one of the very first motorcycles in the 200cc to 300cc segment in India with the launch originally planned in 2011. However, the segment has witnessed quite a few entries ever since and now the bike has to wage a war against prominent rivals like the KTM Duke 200, Honda CBR250R, Kawasaki Ninja 300 and Suzuki Inazuma.
The Mojo could be launched anytime from now to take advantage of the oncoming festive season.
