The Mahindra Marazzo MPV will launch on September 3. In price positioning, the upcoming MPV will find itself between the Maruti Ertiga and the Toyota Innova Crysta. The looks of the new MPV, says Mahindra, take several design cues from the shark. Mahindra has already revealed some of the shark-inspired features through teasers. Today, we have spy images from Rushlane that show the upcoming MPV's LED tail lights.
The Mahindra Marazzo MPV will launch with an all-new 1.5-litre diesel engine that will reportedly output a maximum power of 121 hp along with a peak torque of 300 Nm. The engine will be available with a 6-speed manual transmission.
The Marazzo will offer a long list of features. Its body structure will be in compliance with the upcoming safety norms. Standard safety features will include ABS, EBD, dual front airbags, and rear parking sensors. These spy images reveal that the MPV will get stylish alloy wheels and rear disc brakes. In all probability, these will be restricted to the high-end trims. Other features for the new MPV include LED Daytime Running Lights (DRLs), Projection headlights, touchscreen infotainment unit with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, first-in-segment Surround AC vents, and reverse camera.
The Mahindra Marazzo is the first-ever passenger vehicle to be co-engineered by the Mahindra North American Technical Centre (MNATC) in Troy, Michigan and Mahindra Research Valley (MRV) in Chennai, India. It's also the first-ever vehicle to be co-designed by Pininfarina and Mahindra's Kandivali-based design centre in Mumbai.
After the launch of the Mahindra Marazzo MPV, the company will bring the S201 sub-4-metre compact SUV and the Mahindra Ssangyong G4 Rexton to the market through the 'World Of SUVs' dealership concept.
