IAB reader Srijan has shared the features brochure of the Mahindra KUV100 anniversary edition which will launch in the coming days.
The 2017 Mahindra KUV100 comes with a dual tone exterior. Flamboyant Red or Dazzling Silver body colours can be had with the black roof. The interior has 'Sporty' black theme and 15-inch new alloy wheels. The 15-inch 'Dynamic design' alloy wheel is standard in the K8 variant while the 14-inch 'Spider design' will be available in the K6 and K6+ variants.
Mahindra is also introducing four accessory kits for the anniversary edition: Sporty exterior kit, Sporty interior kit, Premium exterior kit, Premium interior kit. The news on the updates come just days after the launch of the Maruti Ignis, which also offers an extended accessory line.
A report from ET this week spoke about updates to the powertrains for better fuel efficiency, but there is no mention of it in the features brochure. The KUV100 is powered by a 1.2-litre G80 petrol engine that produces 82 bhp and 115 Nm of torque, and a 1.2-litre D75 diesel unit with 77 bhp and 190 Nm of torque. Both engines are paired to a 5-speed manual transmission, and they have an ARAI tested fuel efficiency of 18.15 km/l and 25.32 km/l respectively.
During its launch last year, reports read that the Mahindra KUV100 AMT variant is in the pipeline, but this variant may not be a part of the anniversary edition update.
