Will come in dual-tone colours like the Maruti Ignis.
ET Auto reports that M&M is planning to launch new variants of the Mahindra KUV100 in the coming weeks. Changes will be related to aesthetics and features, so as to not seriously affect the car's prices.
The report doesn't go into detail but reveals that Mahindra will provide dual-tone colour options, alloy rims bigger than the current 14-inch set, and a host of new accessories. It's no surprise that Mahindra is introducing updates for KUV100, as the Maruti Ignis is now in showrooms.
Mahindra has also updated the powertrains to sip less fuel, according to the report. The current KUV100 is powered by a 1.2-litre G80 petrol engine that produces 82 bhp and 115 Nm of torque, while the latter packs a 1.2-litre D75 diesel unit with 77 bhp and 190 Nm of torque. Both engines are paired to a 5-speed manual transmission, and they offer a mileage of 18.15 km/l and 25.32 km/l respectively.
During the launch last year, reports read that the Mahindra KUV100 AMT variant is in the pipeline.
