Limited edition Suzuki GSX-R150 Matte Blue unveiled at GIIAS 2019 [Video]

Suzuki Indonesia has introduced a new Matte Blue limited edition colour option for the Suzuki GSX-R150 at the ongoing GIIAS 2019. The bike mechanically remains unchanged and will be limited to just 500 units.

The Suzuki GSX-R150 is powered by a 147.3 cc single-cylinder, DOHC, liquid-cooled, fuel-injected mill. Coupled to a 6-speed gearbox, the engine can produce 19.17 PS of power at a high 10,500 rpm. The peak torque output of 14 Nm is reached at 9,000 rpm. With a low weight of 131 kg (dry), the Suzuki GSX-R150 has one of the best power-to-weight ratios in the segment.

The Suzuki GSX-R150 is suspended over conventional telescopic fork up front and a monoshock with adjustable preload in the rear. Brakes include discs at both ends and ABS is offered as an option. The bike is shod with 90/80-17 profile tyre in the front and a 130/70-17 profile in the rear. Besides that, the GSX-R150 has a ground clearance of 160 mm and a seat height of 785 mm.

The 2019 Suzuki GSX-R150 was updated recently in May 2019. It features a keyless ignition system that comes with a key fob. Customers can also opt for a conventional key system that comes with the added protection of a shutter to cover the keyhole. Also included are a new LCD speedometer backlight, an easy start system and a hazard lamp. The ABS variant boasts matt titanium handle crown, golden calliper at the front and a petal disc brake on both wheels as well.

Standard colour options include Titan Black/MB Daytona Yellow, Brilliant White, Met Triton Blue and Titan Black. Prices start at IDR 30.18 million (INR 1.49 lakh). The price of the special Matte Blue Suzuki GSX-R150 has not been revealed yet.

Suzuki India will not be launching the GSX-R150 in India. The Japanese bike maker recently updated the 2019 Suzuki Gixxer SF. The standard trim starts at INR 1,09,870, while the MotoGP edition will set you back by 1,10,605 (both prices ex-showroom, Delhi).
