Following its unveil at the brand's official launch in March, Lexus has now revealed the price of its flagship SUV in India. The Lexus LX 450d will, as previously reported, retail at an eye-watering INR 2.32 crores (ex-showroom Delhi), nearly 1 cr more than the SUV it's based on - the Toyota Land Cruiser LC200.
The only variant available in India is 450d diesel, which packs the same 1VD-FTV 4.5-litre V8 diesel engine as in the Toyota Land Cruiser 200. It produces 195 kW (261.35 hp) at 3,400 rpm and 650 Nm of torque between 1,600 rpm to 2,600 rpm and sends power to all four wheels via a 6-speed automatic transmission and a Full-time 4WD system. It is capable of a mileage of 9.6 km/L.
Standard features in the Lexus LX include Bi-Beam LED headlights, LED cornering lamps, LED front fog lights, LED taillights, 18-inch 5-spoke alloy wheels, power adjustable front seats, 8-inch touchscreen infotainment system with navigation, Rear Seat Entertainment with 8-inch displays, four-zone climate control, 4-Camera Multi-Terrain Back Monitor System, Cool Box, and 19-speaker Mark Levinson Reference audio system.
The only rival to the Lexus LX is the Range Rover SDV8 Autobiography, which is priced at INR 2.27, ex-showroom Delhi.
