Customization packages further reduce the differences between the bikes.
The KTM RC390 and RC200 landed with mouth watering introductory price tags. Right from the launch, KTM is offering two customization packages for the duo, namely Style and Race.
The customization packages just add different decals on the front fender, fairing and fuel tank. The Style package uses an orange, black and white combo with the letters RC and KTM taking the prime real estate on the fairing. The Racing package has a white background and carries the logo's of the Austrian two wheeler maker's motorsport partners.
The customization packages make it even more difficult to differentiate between the RC300 and RC200 visually.
The customization packages bring about no mechanical changes whatsoever. The RC390's 372.3 cc single-cylinder unit continues to pump out 42.9 bhp and 35 Nm while the RC200's 200 cc single cylinder mill develops 24.6 bhp and 19.2 Nm of torque. The motors are mated to a 6-speed gearbox.
Watch the KTM RC390 reach a top speed of 179 km/h
The Duke-based fully faired motorcycles feature reduced rake angle and wheelbase to change directions more readily.
